is president of Jean Block Consulting, Inc. She began her nonprofit career at age 13, when she organized her first fundraiser.
Since then she has served as staff and volunteer leader for numerous local, regional and national nonprofit organizations.
She is now a nationally recognized consultant and trainer in nonprofit Board development and governance, fundraising, and
social enterprise. In
2006, she was a founding partner in Social Enterprise Ventures, LLC, a national training company that teaches nonprofits the
skills required to diversity their revenue through earned income.
Jean, the author of two books: The ABCs of Building Better
Boards” and “Fast Fundraising Facts for Fame & Fortune", is a member of the Social Enterprise Alliance and several
local civic organizations in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

LLC provides development, executive coaching, facilitation and training for organizations throughout the USA. Previously,
he was Executive Director of Development for University of New Mexico Hospitals serving as Chief Fundraiser focusing on all
Children’s Services at UNM Children’s Hospital, UNM Children’s Psychiatric Center, UNM Center for Development
and Disability and the Pediatric Department of the UNM School of Medicine. Randy spent a decade
in the healthcare field in Texas managing community mental health and mental retardation centers. He also spent twenty-plus
years in the financial services industry in both Texas and New Mexico. From 1989 until 2001, he served in several senior management
positions with what is now known as Wells Fargo Bank/New Mexico where he led the development of the largest bank based Trust,
Investment and Brokerage division in New Mexico.

Messaging: Since 1991, Melinda has been helping CPAs get more business by finding, creating,
and sustaining relationships. An in-house marketing director for nearly 12 years, Melinda participated in the firm’s
growth: from $700,000 annually to $11 million, from 12 employees to 110, in part by instituting results-oriented marketing
strategies and tactics. She guided the internal and external marketing effort through two mergers and one acquisition. In
2004, she was inducted into the Association for Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame. Speaking, facilitation and teaching are
her passions. Part comedian, part teacher and part group therapist, her style is energetic, upbeat and informative.
