Perhaps the best way for a community to solve social service problems is through collaborations. And yet, starting and maintaining community collaborations is daunting. Collaboration requires that competitors work together. Collaboration requires that organizations with whom you have never worked must now become your partner. And Collaboration requires that every partner give up some autonomy for the good of the community. But, done correctly, Collaborations can impact community problems far more effectively than any one organization can do by themselves.
